A start-up led by a veteran of United Arab Shipping Co (UASC) and Maersk says it is offering up one of the first crypto currencies aimed at shaking up the boxship business.
Danish firm Blockshipping, which is developing what it calls the Global Shared Container Platform (GSCP), says it began a pre-sale of an initial coin offering for one of its digital tokens, which reflects the value of transactions that take place on the GSCP.
