Oslo-listed MPC Container Ships (MPCC) has expanded its fleet once again with a deal in Germany.
The company said it is paying $13.86m for a 1,740-teu geared feedership built in 2012 at Guangzhou Wenchong Shipyard in China.
It will be renamed AS Selina on delivery in the third quarter.
There are three candidates of that size from the world fleet that were built at Wenchong in 2012: Leonhardt & Blumberg's Hansa Duberg and Carsten Rehder's ANL Elaroo and Winchester Strait.
