Dunya Denizcilik of Istanbul is returning to larger tankers and is said to have booked four 113,000-dwt products tankers in South Korea.
The ships are said to be for 2010 delivery but no price has been attached to the orders.
The Turkish owner is currently operating four chemical/products tankers. Two 51,000-dwt units were built at STX Shipbuilding and two 47,000-dwt ships were contracted at Hyundai Mipo Dockyard.
