One of the best known partnerships in the mostly masculine world of marine insurance is coming to an end.
The Two Marias, renowned Piraeus-based brokers who have placed cover for a string of well known Greek shipowners, are going their separate ways.
Their company, Unity Marine Insurance, is set to become disunited soon after the protection-and-indemnity (P&I) renewals are completed.
Unity declines to comment on the rumours but TradeWinds understands that long-standing partners Maria Prevezanou and Maria Kouliga are currently working on ways they can split their business interests.
