Scandlines is questioning the European Commission's (EC) decision to provide 55 years of state aid for the Fehmarn tunnel project, connecting Germany and Denmark.

The ferry owner claims that its concerns over competition in the area have not been taken into account and has asked the European Court of Justice to annul the financing approval.
