Antoniou confirmed the move in brief phone interview with TradeWinds this week when questioned about his recent departure from Swiss commodities trader AMCI Group, where he was chief executive.
“I’m going back to banking but I’m not able to talk about the details just now,” he said.
“I’ll be able to say more in the coming weeks.”
Antoniou had joined AMCI in October 2013.
