EMAS Chiyoda Subsea is gearing up to sell a modern pipelayer after clearing key hurdles that allowed it to put its bankruptcy plan before a US judge for approval this week.
But at least one market expert expects the effort will end up placing another of the Singapore offshore construction vessel owner’s fleet into the hands of Kristian Siem-led Subsea 7 of Norway.
