J Lauritzen has promoted Thomas Woidemann to the newly created position of chief operating officer.
His appointment comes at a time when the owner is launching a new strategy that will see a greater focus on technology and increased resources diverted to its handysize bulker activities.
Woidemann will take on commercial and operational responsibility for both the dry cargo and gas departments of the shipowner.
