Orders for LNG-fuelled vessels in the first four months of 2022 are running “well ahead” of those seen in the same period last year and may push total fleet numbers to over four figures by the end of this year, according to classification society DNV.
DNV said 51 LNG-fuelled newbuildings were contracted in April.
