Sweden’s Stena AB is sitting on liquidity of SEK 19.3bn ($1.8bn) after a stronger second quarter, boosted by the tanker recovery.

The crude and product tanker, LNG carrier and ferry company said net earnings rose to SEK 784m from SEK 239m year on year, as revenue jumped to SEK 13.3bn from SEK 9.4bn.

Annika Hult, deputy chief executive and principal financial officer, said: “The liquidity position remains strong.”
