Malaysia’s reopening of its borders on 1 April 2022 led to a flurry of new repair work at Pasir Gudang-based Malaysia Marine and Heavy Engineering Holdings (MMHE) during its 2022 financial year.
With the lifting of entry restrictions on foreign technical specialists, the shipyard group completed repair and maintenance work on 87 vessels of various types, of which 11 were LNG carriers.
