Bulker owners are trying to wrap up secondhand purchases quickly as a price correction looms in slower markets.
Greece’s Xclusiv Shipbrokers tallied a total of 311 dry cargo vessels changing hands so far in 2023, with 135 sold in the second quarter to date, 23% down on the first three months.
The broker said activity has softened over the course of the year.
