Shipping in the Red Sea remains under threat by air and sea, with yet another suspicious approach reported on Sunday afternoon.

Security companies said an unnamed Panama-flag bulker spotted a small boat while it was underway four miles (6.4 km) east of Beilul in Eritrea and 40 miles west of Mocha in Yemen.

Security advisory company Ambrey Analytics said the unidentified craft called the ship via VHF and threatened to “shoot”.
