Nordic American Tankers says it entered an agreement with Ocean Yield to partially finance three newbuild suezmaxes the shipowner expects to receive next year.
The Aker-backed Ocean Yield will finance about $43m of the $55.7m purchase price for each vessel. Nordic American already paid $16.7m in cash as a deposit for each ships when the vessels were ordered in October 2016.
