Kuwait Oil Tanker Co (KOTC) has firmed up letters of intent for three VLGC newbuildings with Hyundai Heavy Industries.
The 84,000-cbm gas carriers will cost a total of $220m and will be delivered to the state-run Kuwaiti company starting in 2019.
TradeWinds first reported that KOTC had signed the letters of intent at the start of 2018 as part of its long-mooted plan to order three VLGCs.
