Greek shipowner TMS Cardiff Gas has expanded its LNG newbuilding book by ordering tonnage at a second shipyard in South Korea, after securing term business for three earlier vessels.
Sources told TradeWinds that Cardiff has signed for one firm 174,000-cbm LNG carrier newbuild at Samsung Heavy Industries. This deal includes an option on another vessel, which some brokers say is close to being firmed up.
