Ocean Longevity of Hong Kong is ramping up its fleet with an order for midsize bulker newbuildings.

The Kwai Sze Hoi-controlled shipping company has placed an order at Yangzijiang Shipbuilding for two kamsarmaxes.

According to shipbuilding sources, Ocean Longevity signed up for the newbuildings at the end of last year and the deal only became effective recently. Yangzijiang is scheduled to deliver the pair of IMO Tier II-compliant, 82,000-dwt bulk carriers near the end of 2019.
