Navios Maritime Midstream Partners has added a VLCC to its fleet after confirming the sale of an older tanker.
The move came as the MLP cut its payout to shareholders while it undertakes a period of fleet renewal.
TradeWinds reported earlier this month the 287,000-dwt Shinyo Kannika (built 2001) had been sold for demolition.
Today Navios Midstream said it has bought the 298,000-dwt Nave Galactic (built 2010) from sibling Navios Maritime Acquisition.
