Havila Shipping chief executive Njaal Saevik has confirmed the widespread market belief that a recently announced vessel contract with Reach Subsea is a so-called “pay as you go” deal.
This week, Reach has taken the 93-metre Havila Harmony (built 2005) for three years, with options for two more years — although the contract’s form means the firm years do not necessarily represent guaranteed coverage.
