Insurer Aspen is pulling out of marine hull cover provided through its Lloyd’s syndicate 4711 in response to the Lloyd’s of London market profit drive.
Marine hull insurance is one of three insurance lines Aspen is reducing at Lloyd’s, along with aviation and professional indemnity cover.
The move was revealed in Aspen’s second quarter figures announced yesterday.
