Diana Shipping has furthered its relationship with Hudson Shipping Lines, chartering two of its panamaxes to the US-based commodities trader.
Simeon Palios-led Diana has extended its contract with Hudson for 73,630-dwt Protefs (built 2004) at $11,000 per day for about 12 to 15 months, beginning 19 September.
The vessel is currently chartered, as previously announced, at $7,900 per day.
It has also entered into a new charter arrangement with Hudson for the 75,311-dwt Nirefs (built 2011) at $10,750 per day for 11 to 14 months, starting this past week.
