Greek player Dimitris Souravlas has upped the ante in his push for large tanker tonnage, adding a second aframax to his fleet within a year, brokers have said.

Several reports in Europe and the US are crediting Souravlas-led Stalwart Management as buyers of the 106,600-dwt tanker Blue River (built 2002), at about $11.5m.

The ship has been in the fleet of Estoril Navigation, a low-profile Greek company that rarely sells secondhand ships.
