A 28-year-old port worker has died after jumping from a burning crane in India.
Dravin Rai leapt from the cabin to save himself at Haldia on Saturday, the Hindustan Times reported.
A net held by colleagues 50 feet below could not prevent terminal injuries.
The crane had been unloading coal from a bulker at the port.
