Greece's Navios Maritime Partners (NMM) has slumped to a loss for the first quarter after selling an older bulker.

The New York-listed bulker and boxship company said the net deficit to 31 March was $9.52m, from a profit of $5.47m a year ago.

It was hit by a $7.3m impairment from disposing of the 74,000-dwt Navios Galaxy I (built 2001).
