Singapore Management University (SMU) has sealed fresh funding for its new maritime and business courses from a trio of government agencies.
A total of SGD 4.3m ($3.1m) will be provided by the Singapore Maritime Institute (SMI) under a collaboration agreement signed on Tuesday afternoon.
SMI is jointly backed by Singapore’s Maritime Port Authority (MPA), the Agency for Science, Technology and Research (A*Star) and the Singapore Economic Development Board (EDB).
