An officer was watching music videos on his phone before a Wagenborg general cargoship grounded off Scotland, an accident probe has revealed.

The distraction was a contributory factor in the 3,250-dwt Priscilla (built 2009) hitting rocks in the eastern entrance of Pentland Firth on 18 July 2018, the UK Maritime and Coastguard Agency (MAIB) said.

The ship was aground for a week and suffered significant hull damage.
