Germany's Ernst Russ Group has expanded its fleet further by buying a feedership chartered to Eimskip of Iceland.
The company said it had acquired the 698-teu Skogafoss (built 2007) in cooperation with an unnamed strategic partner.
"The successful acquisition of the vessel strengthens its strategic position in the market and further expands the Ernst Russ Group fleet," it added.
