Mediterranean Shipping Co’s (MSC) Gulsun-class containership Isabella has become the largest ever containership to call at Singapore.
The 23,656-teu monster called at the Lion Republic on Sunday in what was its first port-of-call in Asia after sailing back from Europe.
The ship was delivered to MSC in August 2019 and it embarked on its maiden sailing from Qingdao that same month and has now completed its first round-trip between Asia and Europe.
