A director of Carnival Corp has resigned from the New York-listed cruise giant's board after serving on the panel since 2012.

Debra Kelly-Ennis gave up her seat Monday, including her role as a member of the health, environment, environmental, safety and security (HESS) committee. She also left the identical board of London-listed entity, Carnival plc.

"She has been an outstanding member of our board for the past several years and will be greatly missed," spokesman Roger Frizzell told TradeWinds.
