After a few busy months this year in large bulker scrapping, this market has been at a complete standstill since the coronavirus shut virtually all major demolition markets in the Indian sub-continent.
But reports suggest that the recycling business may finally come to life again.
Market sources said negotiations are underway for the 268,000-dwt VLOC HBIS Sunrise (built 1992), which is owned by Sinokor Merchant Marine of South Korea.
