Scorpio Tankers has made good on a promise to show investors guidance to a record-setting quarter from April to June.
In a one-off guidance not typical of the shipowner's practices but promised during an April investor call, the world's largest product tanker owner laid out some eye-popping figures that dwarfed their first-quarter rates.
Scorpio is earning $47,000 per day on its LR2 tankers, $35,500 per day on LR1s, $21,700 on MRs and $17,500 on handymaxes.
