A Greek-flagged tanker held for five days in international waters off Turkey has been allowed to sail again.

The development comes as authorities in both countries continued investigations into its likely collision with a fishing boat.

Representatives of Andriaki Shipping, the tanker’s Athens-based management company, confirmed to TradeWinds that the 164,700-dwt suezmax Ephesos (built 2012) is sailing again after “all necessary procedures” were completed.
