Germany's Hapag-Lloyd has upgraded its earnings forecast due to a strong fourth quarter.

The German liner operator has lifted its Ebitda guidance to €2.6bn to €2.7bn ($3.2bn to $3.3bn) for the full financial year.

That is up from expectations of €1.7bn to €2.2bn in August.

In October, the company lifted its guidance to €2.4bn to €2.6bn due to strong demand in the third quarter.
