Cosco Shipping Energy Transportation (CSET) looks set to move into the ethane carrier sector.
The Chinese shipping giant is in talks with shipyards in China for a minimum of six very large ethane carrier (VLEC) newbuildings, sources familiar with the company have revealed.
CSET recently inked a letter of intent with Liaoning Bora Enterprise Group (Bora) to work jointly on the VLEC project.
