An Apollo Global Management representative will not stand for re-election to the board of New York-listed Genco Shipping & Trading after his firm's large-scale divestment of its shareholding.
Jason Scheir, an Apollo partner installed on the Genco board in 2016, informed the dry bulk shipowner on Friday that he will be departing following Apollo's sale of about 4m shares on 10 March.
