Stavanger-based subsea contractor Ocean Installer has won large contracts from Statoil this week for work this year and into 2020.

“The subsea industry is bouncing back, and we are well positioned to take advantage of the contracts currently in the market,” Ocean Installer chief exective Steinar Riise said this week.

Ocean Installer, majority owned by Norwegian oil-and-gas speciality investor HitecVision, has landed two contacts within subsea, umbilicals, risers and flowlines (SURF).
