Dof Subsea has been awarded a five-month contract in the North America region, its second deal in less than a week.

The IPO-bound owner said the 74-loa Skandi Chieftain will start working under its new contract in June.

Skandi Chieftain was reflagged under the Canadian flag in 2016 and is operated by the company’s subsidiary Dof Subsea Canada.

The offshore owner won an extension for the charter of the 4,578-dwt Jones Act-compliant Harvey Deep Sea (built 2013) last week.
