Norway’s Havila Shipping has logged a profitable fourth quarter after reversing vessel impairments in stronger markets.

The Oslo-listed shipowner said net earnings in the three months to 31 December were NOK 237m ($26m), up from a loss of NOK 41,000 in the same period of 2020.

Revenue came in at NOK 144.9m, against NOK 107.1m the year before.

The company benefited from a reversal of impairment charges on the fleet worth NOK 260.8m
