Simon Mokster has turned to a Spanish shipyard for its latest offshore support vessel.
The Norwegian owner placed an order at Astilleros Gondan for a UT776 WP design underpinned by a long-term charter with Statoil.
TradeWinds reported earlier this month that Simon Mokster had bagged one of seven deals doled out by the oil major.
The vessel will join Statoil for three years firm with options for three more.
