North Sea spot rates have trebled for platform supply vessels (PSVs) on steady demand.
Brokers said Nordic American Offshore's (NAO) 4,200-dwt NAO Prosper (built 2012) has been fixed by Team Marine for 10 days of supply duties at £13,750 per day ($18,900).
There have been highs of £16,000-plus in recent days, compared to a more familiar rate level for this year of £5,000 per day back in mid-April.
