TAS Offshore has received another notice of termination for an offshore construction vessel built for QMS1 Offshore Services.
The Malaysian shipbuilder said QMS1 has torn up the contract of a ship worth $11.7m, which was ready for delivery on 11 December 2015.
TAS added it intends to start legal proceedings against QMS1 because it believes the termination is “not valid”.
Last month, TAS revealed that QMS1 had ditched the newbuilding contracts of two more anchor handlers worth $13.5m
