AP Moller-Maersk turned to former military personnel to extract dozens of workers and their families from Ukraine after Russia invaded.

The group’s head of corporate security and crisis management, Thomas Boye Dyregaard, told the Berlingske daily that Danish security company Guardian Security Risk Management was contacted on 10 March.

The company employs many former Danish soldiers, often with experience in the elite Jaeger Corps, also known as the Huntsmen Corp, a special operations unit of Danish Defence.
