Korea Western Power (KWP) has signed a preliminary agreement with compatriots H-Line Shipping and SK Shipping to install scrubbers on its chartered vessels.
Details of the memorandum of understanding (MOU) have not officially been disclosed, but a South Korean shipping source said the utility will compensate H-Line and SK Shipping with higher freight rates for the cost of installing the equipment.
