A Precious Shipping handysize bulker has briefly run aground off Norfolk, Virginia on the US east coast.
The 30,195-dwt Mallika Naree (built 2008) ran aground in the Elizabeth River, according to a statement from the US Coast Guard.
However, tugs were quickly able to refloat the Thai-flagged vessel and it was moved to a nearby anchorage. No injuries were reported.
