Canada’s Davie Yards has proposed a tie-up with Irving Shipbuilding to ensure a future for the industry through winning state contracts.
Its national shipbuilding procurement strategy (NSPS) is aimed at renewing the federal fleet and “building world-class shipbuilding capability in Canada,” it said.
