Doun Kisen is said to have sold a post-panamax bulker as values for larger ships in the sector move slightly higher.
Several brokerage reports say the Japanese shipowner has sold the 97,000-dwt Eternal Power (built 2004) to an undisclosed buyer.
The Oshima-built ship changed hands for $6.2m, though Seasure Shipbroking's VesselsValue platform had estimated the vessel as being worth $5.63m.
