Options for four more units were included in the contract.
The yard said the 10,000-dwt barges will serve oil refineries in cold northern waters.
The ice-class 1A units are designed to carry loads of more than 25 tons per square metre.
Delivery of the first two in the series will take place eight months after the deal enters into force in July.
