Precious Shipping is nearing the completion of its old handysize clear-out with its latest vessel disposal.
The Khalid Hashim-led company has sold the 28,415-dwt Urawee Naree (built 1997) for $2.35m.
This price was higher than all previous similar deals involving Precious in 2016.
A company incorporated in the Seychelles has bought the 1997-built ship but it is unclear if it will be used for further trading or sent to the breakers' beaches.
