Tallink’s LNG ferry option lapses

Estonian owner Tallink’s option for a second LNG-fulled ferry has expired at Meyer Turku in Finland.

The Turun Sanomat daily reported that the German-owned yard said the company had until the end of February to decide on a second ship.

The owner is not going ahead for now, but the yard is open to negotiations for another vessel over the next few years, Meyer Turku added.
