China State Shipbuilding Corp (CSSC) appointed Lei Fanpei to become its new chairman, the state-owned shipbuilder said in a statement.
Lei will replace the incumbent Dong Qiang, 58.
Lei was previously chairman of the China Aerospace Science and Technology Corp, the country's space agency. He will leave that role for the chairmanship of CSSC. Dong's next move was not released.
